Grande Loge Universelle

Dear Brothers, dear friends,

It is with deep emotion and a great honour that I address you as Grand Master of Grande Loge Universelle. Our obedience, with its three centuries of history, continues to embody the values of liberty, equality, and fraternity that found our Masonic commitment.

The Freemasonry we practice is not a refuge from the world, but on the contrary a space for reflection and action to better understand our era and contribute positively to it. In a constantly changing world, our initiatory approach takes on its full meaning: it invites us to work on ourselves to better work for the progress of humanity.

Our tradition, that of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, offers us a rich and structuring framework for this personal and collective quest. The symbols, rituals and values that compose it are tools to build an inner temple and contribute to the building of a more just and fraternal society.

Whether you have been a Freemason for many years or are discovering our institution, I invite you to explore the riches of our heritage, to participate in our reflections and to share this exceptional human adventure with us.

Fraternally yours,

Jean-Raphaël Notton
